About the Role
As the Project Manager, you will report directly to the National Construction Manager, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of a range of minor works projects, typically valued at under $300,000 each. Your primary focus will be delivering an annual capex program across multiple sites within the company’s Australian network.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage capex and refurbishment projects across various locations.
- Oversee general Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) and property improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of the annual capex plan and R&M budgets.
- Monitor project costs, including preparing cost reports and budgets.
- Maintain accurate administrative documentation, ensuring compliance with best practice project management and building standards from feasibility through to authority approvals, project delivery, and defects liability.
- Formal qualifications in Construction or Project Management (preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, managing industrial and/or retail projects from concept to completion.
- Strong project management skills, with a focus on industrial and commercial sectors.
- Develop schedules and programs of works (as required) for each Project
- Manage project cycle from conception to completion and handover
- Conduct tenders in accordance with the Procurement Policy and budget, including evaluation and engagement via the correct approval process
- Management of all contractors, subcontractors and suppliers
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Construction Safety White Card.
