We are seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to lead the design and analysis of heavy industrial structures and materials handling systems. If you have extensive experience in structural engineering and are passionate about making an impact, this is the perfect opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead structural design for conveyors, surge bins, foundations, and more.
- Perform detailed FEA and load assessments, ensuring compliance with Australian and international standards.
- Provide RPEQ sign-off on designs and mentor junior engineers.
- Work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, high-quality solutions.
- Bachelor’s in Structural or Civil Engineering (with structural focus).
- RPEQ registered (essential).
- 15+ years of experience in structural engineering (mining, bulk material handling preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Australian structural codes (AS4100, AS3600, etc.).
- Proven leadership and mentorship skills.
