The Role

The Financial Controller will play a high-impact, hands-on role, working directly with the Founders and Directors. You'll be responsible for leading the end to end finance function, including group forecasting, reporting, compliance, and supporting the company’s expanding property funds and development portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide directors with accurate and timely financial reports and insights
  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements
  • Maintain and continuously improve finance systems, processes, and controls
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, cashflow reporting, BAS/GST, and audit processes
  • Partner with development, funds, and operations teams to deliver streamlined financial reporting and analysis.
  • Manage unit pricing, treasury, debt, and investor reporting across multiple property funds.
  • Drive process and systems improvement initiatives, including reporting and financial tools
The Successful Cand idate :
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Experience in property development, real estate funds, or investment management
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
  • Proven experience managing audits, investor reporting, and regulatory compliance
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Proficiency in Yardi or similar ERP financial systems
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, tax and accounting standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
