High profile property company going through an exciting phase of growth with an impressive portfolio covering Build to-Rent (BTR), retail, and mixed-use assets.
The Role
Reporting into the CFO and working closely with Asset Management, Development and Corporate Finance, the role includes:
Asset Finance Oversight
- Manage financial reporting and forecasting for income-generating assets across BTR, retail, and commercial portfolios
- Oversee monthly and quarterly asset performance reporting including variance analysis, yield tracking, and operational KPIs
- Monitor leasing performance, OPEX recovery, NOI, and cashflows across the asset lifecycle
- Partner with Asset Managers to improve asset performance, profitability, and reporting quality
- Prepare asset-level financials for consolidation into corporate accounts
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax obligations, and trust structures
- Liaise with external auditors and advisors during year-end review and statutory audit processes
- Support the clean-down and alignment of financial accounts in preparation for external assurance
Investor & Lender Reporting
- Prepare investor and debt covenant reporting packs, including rent rolls, valuation inputs, and asset-level commentary
- Assist in managing finance and compliance obligations under funding arrangements, particularly for BTR assets
- Enhance asset-level reporting processes and templates for clarity, accuracy, and efficiency
- Work with systems team to improve integration between property management systems, ERP, and Excel-based models
- Support the finance transformation program by embedding best practices and scalable tools for asset finance
- CA or CPA qualified
- 5–8 years' experience in asset management finance roles within the property sector
- Strong understanding of real estate financials including NOI, IRR, cap rates, and lease structures
- Familiarity with BTR operations, stabilisation metrics, and investor-grade reporting (desirable)
- Strong analytical, Excel, and financial modelling skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to property ERP systems and integrated reporting tools
