Shape the cities of tomorrow.
Here is a unique opportunity to work across some of Australia’s most significant mixed-use precincts, high-density residential projects, and urban infill developments. You’ll act as a Development Manager on large-scale sites (200–1,500 apartments), navigating complex planning pathways (SSDA, HDA), structuring joint ventures, and influencing the strategic direction of transformative developments.

The Opportunity
As Development Manager - or Assistant Development Manager - you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects from inception through to delivery. You’ll play a strategic role in coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams across design, planning, and construction, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard while meeting commercial and community objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development process from site acquisition, design and feasibility through approvals and delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage consultants across architecture, planning, engineering, and delivery.
  • Navigate complex planning pathways and manage approvals including SSDA and HDA processes.
  • Undertake feasibility studies, financial modelling, and risk analysis to guide decision-making.
  • Negotiate and structure joint ventures and funding arrangements.
  • Oversee design development to ensure buildability, cost efficiency, and compliance.
  • Manage budgets, cash flows, and project reporting to stakeholders.
  • Engage with key stakeholders including developers, government, community groups, and industry bodies.
  • Stay across market trends, regulatory changes, and industry innovations.
About You
  • 5+ years’ experience in property development or project management.
  • Proven track record in either planning or delivery of large-scale residential, mixed-use, or urban renewal projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary consultant teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously while delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
This is your opportunity to work with industry leaders on high-profile, city-shaping developments. You’ll gain exposure to landmark projects, strategic oversight and complex planning processes, all while accelerating your career in an organisation known for its innovation and impact.
