The Role
Due to an internal promotion BAC is seeking a Delivery & Procurement Contract Manager to lead a team of Commercial Professionals.
The Delivery Procurement & Contracts Manager, will lead a dedicated team supporting the end-to-end procurement and contract management functions for major building & infrastructure initiatives. Your focus will be on embedding consistency, compliance, and efficiency through the development of standardised documentation, processes, and governance frameworks. Working in close partnership with project delivery teams, procurement, legal, and other enabling functions, you will ensure that commercial engagements are strategically aligned, well-executed, and supportive of BAC’s long-term growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight to the contract administration team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service across all projects.
- Drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of procurement and contract administration frameworks, templates, and processes.
- Collaborate with Delivery Managers to assess procurement needs across the capital program and contribute to strategic procurement planning.
- Facilitate the Procurement Strategy Working Group to ensure cross-functional alignment and sharing of best practices.
- Act as the key liaison between the Development & Delivery team and BAC’s corporate Procurement and Legal teams.
- Ensure consistency and rigor in supplier engagement, contract variation processes, and contract lifecycle management.
- Review procurement documentation to ensure quality and alignment with internal standards.
We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience developing and managing procurement processes and contract management in infrastructure or construction sectors.
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related discipline is essential
- Collaborative leadership with exceptional commercial acumen
- Ability to drive alignment across complex stakeholder groups
