Reporting to the Asset Manager, the successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day management of the portfolio, ensuring operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and strong tenant relationships. This position will involve key responsibilities across financial administration, lease management, compliance, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting arrears management and maintaining accurate financial reporting.
- Assisting with budgeting, expense accruals, and quarterly reforecasting.
- Reviewing, coding, and approving operational expenditure invoices in line with budgets.
- Conducting tenancy schedule audits and ensuring compliance with lease terms.
- Assisting with insurance and bank guarantee audits.
- Preparing key asset management reports, providing insights on financial variances and estate matters.
- Liaising with tenants to address day-to-day property management matters and enhance tenant engagement.
- Supporting lease administration, including drafting tenant communications and coordinating lease-related documentation.
- Assisting with market reviews, tenant renewals, and ensuring the portfolio maintains high presentation and operational standards.
- A tertiary qualification in Property, Business, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of one year of property management or administration experience, preferably within retail assets.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with MRI software is highly desirable.
- A current driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective tenant relationships.
