The Role

The Accountant plays a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance. This includes:
  • Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations across assigned entities.
  • Manage and review the P&Ls for multiple SPVs, ensuring correct coding and classification.
  • Process inter-company transactions and recharges, including reconciliations and elimination entries.
  • Assist with BAS preparation and submission, working with internal stakeholders and external advisors where necessary.
  • Provide support to the Accounts Payable function, including invoice coding and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Ensure general ledger accuracy through journal entries, accruals, and month-end adjustments.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and account analysis as required.
  • Respond to audit requests and assist with financial compliance obligations.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives and support system enhancements.
Experience & Skills
  • 2–4 years’ experience in a broad accounting role, ideally in a multi-entity environment.
  • Prior exposure to property development or project-based industries is strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, including balance sheet and P&L review.
  • Experience with inter-company transactions and monthly recharges.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and lodge BAS.
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations).
  • ERP system experience required (e.g. Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc).
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
